Denise Cahill is a Senior Health Promotion Officer with the Health Service Executive. Denise has a BSc. in Sport & Exercise Science and a Masters in Health Promotion. Denise has worked as a researcher in the area of Public Health but her real passion is health promotion and she has worked in this area for the past 12 years. Denise has worked in the areas of Schools Health Promotion, Physical Activity and Tobacco Control. In more recent years she has developed her understanding and commitment to community health promotion and has coordinated the health profile of Cork City in support of World Health Organisation recognition of Cork as a Healthy City. Denise has been appointed as the Co-ordinator of the Healthy Cities initiative in Cork City. Cork Healthy Cities is looking forward to supporting the work of COLLAGE.
