Dr Annalisa Setti
Annalisa is a Lecturer in Cognitive Psychology at the School of Applied Psychology. She has a Masters in Experimental Cognitive Psychology from the University of Geneva and a PhD in Psychology from the University of Bologna. She has worked as a senior research fellow in Trinity College on the Technology Research for Independent Living project studying multisensory perception in ageing and its role in mobility (falls) and cognition. She then joined The Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (TiLDA) studying the impact of sensory decline on cognitive decline and activities of daily living. She is also a keen interest in cognitive/physical training to promote independent living and technology-based solutions to support it. Her work is contributing to finding new risk factors for falls and cognitive decline.
